Terms and Conditions for Buying Staffs

Sticks are made of natural materials, and although I have done my utmost to ensure their strength and suitability, I cannot guarantee all sticks will be proof against all uses you put them to.

Payment is via Paypal. You can either pay via your own Paypal account, or use any card as a ‘guest’. Paypal will not take any extra fee from you as a buyer. They only take a cut from the seller.

English Law applies to all sales. This is a small enterprise, so VAT is not included.

Postage and Packaging is included in all orders. Parcel Force Express48 are my courier service, and I ship weekly. As soon as I have dispatched, I will provide a tracking number so you can follow the progress of your order. All packages will be electronically signed-for.

Returns

You have the right to cancel any order of unwanted goods, provided you do so within 1 days of placing the order. You must inform me of your intent to return/cancel within 1 days, and return the items in full within 28 days. Please be sure to package goods adequately, and include your full details. Please also send them recorded delivery in case of loss or damage. I will not be liable unless I receive the goods in ‘as new’ condition. You will receive a refund by the means you paid. If I have sent goods in error or obviously faulty goods I may also refund your return postage.

If you wish to substitute different goods to those being returned you will need to order the new items separately and I will refund the price of any returned goods once I receive them in '‘as new’ condition’.

Availability

The presence of an item on my website does not constitute a promise to supply. Items may be out of stock or may have been deleted from our range.

Cancellations

If an order must be cancelled please use my email contact form and include your order confirmation number. If the order is cancelled before it has been processed then there will be no charge. If I’ve started packing there will be a £2 cancellation fee. If an order has already been posted it cannot be cancelled and my Returns policy applies (see above).

If the Delivery is Damaged

If a delivery is obviously damaged you must not accept the delivery. If the delivery becomes apparent only on more thorough inspection please contact me immediately and return the items, carefully packed, with original packaging enclosed so I can claim against the courier service. If you do not return the packaging I will not be able to claim. Please contact me before returning anything.

Note: Packing often can be damaged in transit, which is its purpose. If the items arrive in good useable condition, damage to packaging does not constitute a reason for rejecting, refusing or requesting a discount.

Non-Arrival of Sticks

If your order does not arrive within a reasonable time period you must inform me, including all relevant information. If you leave it too long before informing me I will not be able to claim from the courier and you agree to indemnify me for the uninsured loss.

Please check with your local Royal Mail delivery office to see if they are holding it for you. They are meant to leave a card, but these often melt or get eaten by rogue cats.

Breakages after Delivery

If anything breaks after you receive it I will only replace it or offer refund if the breakage was caused by faulty materials. Sticks used for "bush beating" are liable to stresses beyond my control and only in exceptional circumstances would I consider breakage to be my fault.

Faulty Addresses

If the address you provide is faulty in any way and causes me to incur additional charges then you agree to reimburse these additional charges. Please be sure to give the correct House Name/Number, Road Name, Town and Post Code. Use Capital letters for the post code. Please provide the actual delivery address where someone will be in to receive the order. If you give an incorrect address and your package is lost, then no liability can be placed on me for non-delivery.

Phone Number

I will not call you unless there is a problem with the order, but courier companies often insist on a phone number, so please include yours. Orders without a working phone number will be refused. If any time or charges are incurred by me to resolve a delivery problem on your behalf and I am not at fault then I reserve the right to charge an administrative fee to cover my costs.

Privacy Policy

I do not pass on your personal details to anyone. The only records I keep are those pertaining to your order, in case I need to contact you, and as required by UK Tax regulations. I have no access to your payment details, which are handled through PayPal’s secure servers.

I do send occasional emails, and unless you inform me otherwise I will include you in these mailouts. However, unsubscribing is instant and simple.
